Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Gears Up for Family-Friendly October Festivities
Gadsden, Ala. – Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ is inviting the community to a series of free, family-friendly events throughout October, including the popular Candy with the Cardinals.
The main event takes place Oct. 21 from 3 to 6 p.m. on the Wallace Drive Campus Quad, featuring games, crafts, face painting, candy, and live music from the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ Show Band. Attendees can also meet student-athletes and explore college programs with on-site enrollment specialists.
“This event is perfect for families and community members who want to enjoy a variety of games, arts and entertainment in a safe and festive environment,” said Lynn Patterson, director of Student Activities.
Additional events include:
- Oct. 23, 3–6 p.m. – Candy with the Cardinals at the Ayers Campus (Cheaha Career Center lawn) with games, prizes, candy, and face painting.
- Oct. 24, 4:30–6:30 p.m. – Trunk or Treat at the Cherokee Campus (Academic Building parking lot), featuring games, candy, face painting, and photos with Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ mascot “Swoop.”
All events are free and open to the public.
