Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ to disburse ARP funds to eligible students
Gadsden, Ala. — Dr. Kathy Murphy, president of Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ, announced that American Rescue Plan Act (ARP) funds will be disbursed on Nov. 15 to eligible students based on guidelines issued by the U.S. Department of Education. The funds provide economic relief for students enrolled at Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ.

Who is eligible?
- Students enrolled in at least one credit course
- Freshman, continuing, returning/readmitted students
Who is not eligible?
- Dual-enrolled high school students
- Incarcerated students
- Transient students
- Students who withdrew from Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ on or before Oct. 25
How will students be notified about their eligibility?
Emails have been sent to eligible students. Please check your Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ email.
How will Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ disburse ARP funds?
A student aid check will be mailed to their permanent address on record on Nov. 15. Students with exceptional financial need (Pell recipients) will receive an additional funding amount.
