Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ announces Summer Six Scholarship

Gadsden, Ala. –  Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ announced a new scholarship for 2021 high school graduates who enroll for the summer semester.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for high school graduates to continue their education while having Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ taking on some of the expense,” said Kelley Pearce, associate dean of Enrollment and Retention.

The Summer Six Scholarship covers up to six credit hours of in-state tuition and fees. It can be used during the full summer semester or any of the three mini terms. The scholarship is open for graduating high school students in Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ’s service area only, including Calhoun, Cherokee, Cleburne, Etowah, St. Clair and Talladega counties.

To qualify, 2021 high school graduates must complete a Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ admissions application at . The Summer Six Scholarship application must also be completed. Go to .

Following an eligibility review, students will be notified about the scholarship decision via their Ä¢¹½ÊÓÆµ student email address. The deadline to apply is July 2.
